1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how Puple AI Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with your use of our non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application MeCo (the “App”) and our related services (collectively, the “Services”).
As a non-custodial wallet, we want to be clear about what information we collect. Your private keys and assets are always under your control. We do not store or have access to your private keys.
2. Information We Collect
We collect a limited amount of information to provide and improve our Services.
- Public Blockchain Data: We collect publicly available data from blockchain networks (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum). This includes your public wallet address and transaction data (transaction IDs, amounts, and timestamps). This information is public by nature, and we use it to display your transaction history and wallet balances.
- Information You Provide to Us: When you contact our customer support or communicate with us, we may collect your name, email address, and the content of your communications.
- Technical Information: We may automatically collect certain technical information from your device, such as your mobile device's ID, IP address, device type, operating system, and basic usage of the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Maintain the Services: To display your transaction history, show asset balances, and enable you to interact with blockchain networks.
- To Improve Our Services: To understand how our users interact with the App, troubleshoot issues, and develop new features, as detailed in the section below.
- For Security: To protect against fraud, spam, and abuse, and to enhance the security of the App.
- To Communicate with You: To respond to your support requests, provide updates about the Services, and inform you of changes to our terms or policies.
- To Comply with Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws and regulations where required.
4. Cookies and Analytics Technologies
We use third-party service providers to help us analyze how users interact with our App to improve our Services. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about your device and usage patterns.
- Firebase: We use Firebase (a Google service) for application infrastructure, performance monitoring, and crash reporting.
- Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand traffic and user activity, helping us enhance the user experience.
- Microsoft Clarity: We use Clarity to capture user interaction data, such as heatmaps and session recordings, to identify bugs and improve usability.
These tools help us understand what features are popular and how to make the App better. They do not access your private keys or private transaction details.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information under the following limited circumstances:
- Third-Party Service Providers: We may share technical or user-provided information with vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud), analytics providers as described above, and customer support platforms. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your information.
- Third-Party Integrations: If you choose to interact with third-party services through our App (e.g., fiat-to-crypto gateways, DApp browsers), you will be subject to their Private policies. This will also apply to future features like swaps, staking, and NFT marketplaces. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
- Legal and Law Enforcement: We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, please contact us. Note that we cannot delete public blockchain data, as it is immutable and not under our control.
9. International Data Transfers
We are a global service. Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside of your own, including Panama, where our operations are based. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
